一個人去餐廳看似孤單，但我可以聽見許多陌生人的故事與想法。


今天去咖啡廳唸書時，後面坐著兩個女生，從頭到尾我都沒有看見她們的長相，只能用聽聲音和內容來判斷年紀。兩人年紀差距說不定有十歲以上。
其中一個，有兩個兒子，其中一個要上大學，一個已經唸大學了。
她說她唸大學的兒子，有好幾個國家可以出國實習，她向她兒子分析可以選擇澳洲，一天就供兩餐，還供住。因為十點才開始上班，一天吃兩餐差不多，休假日去賣場買點便宜的麵包、餐點果腹的話，可以存下許多錢。
另一個要上大學的兒子則是在思考要不要唸軍校、當職業軍人。

我很喜歡她教育小孩的方式
「不幫孩子做決定，他們要為自己的決定”負責”。」
如果小孩想學才藝、想補習，她可以出錢沒關係，但必須是小孩自己「想要」，而不是由她去逼迫孩子做什麼事。她不希望以後孩子怨她替他們做了哪些決定。
